The thermal scanner recognizes faces 1-8 feet away. The fixture can be used to prevent users with a fever from entering facilities such as schools, retail locations, manufacturing facilities, and government buildings.
A database of employees can be created to limit access to approved individuals. Or the device can accept any person without a fever.
